5. 3^rd stage larvae move out of faeces and onto grass. The free living stage in the environment of the life cycle can take from 2 -12 weeks to complete
6. Sheep eat grass and 3^rd stage larvae. These moult in the small intestine to 4^th stage larvae which then become adult worms. Adult worm produce eggs which are passed in the faeces. The host stage of the life cycle can take 18-21 days to complete
