Syndromes
Syndrome refers to a particular sign or a group of signs that can be easily recognised and which may indicate a particular important disease. For example, a respiratory syndrome may be defined as including any animal that shows one or more of the following clinical signs: coughing, difficulty breathing, nasal discharge, elevated respiratory rate, and so on.
