A basic course for para-vets in the practical, clinical procedures involved in the investigation of an animal health problem.

4. Using GIS for Animal Health

A practical, video-assisted, self-access course for staff at any level interested in using GIS in the analysis and presentation of iSIKHNAS data.

5. Epidemiological Data Analysis

A practical, problem-based, video-assisted course for staff involved in decision making using an epidemiological approach to the analysis of iSIKHNAS data.

6. Budget Advocacy

A practical course in the use of iSIKHNAS data for maintaining or increasing budget for animal health services at the district and provincial level.

7. Recognising signs of poor health

Basic course in the recognition of basic signs of disease and suffering in animals for village level animal health reporters (pelsa)

8. Excel Training

  • These courses will be revised before the end of 2014 in order to reflect the improvements in disease reporting, data validation and data management brought about by the new integrated animal health information system, iSIKHNAS.
