{{example|Pinkeye is more common in younger cattle because they generally have not been exposed to Moraxella bovis, the bacteria that is involved in pinkeye. Lack of exposure in younger cattle mean they have a lower immunity to this bacteria and therefore a higher risk than older cattle of getting the disease.
