User Type Definitions

1 Champion : Champion
System administrator. This is the highest user level with access permissions to all parts of the system. Only certain, highly trained staff are given this position of responsibility.
2 Koordinator Regional : Regional coordinator
There will probably only be a maximum of two coordinators in each region. These key staff are responsible for the monitoring, oversight and support of provincial coordinators and may give close assistance during priority disease investigations. They have access to view all parts of the system but have no data reporting responsibilities or responsibility for management of the system.
NOTE "Koordinator" In iSIKHNAS, the term coordinator is used to describe someone who is responsible for the practical, day to day activities related to the smooth running of the system and performance of staff. This ‘hands-on’ position is responsible for interacting directly with field staff, with the iSIKHNAS website and other internet based resources and for direct oversight of all aspects of the system.
3 Koordinator Provinsi : Provincial coordinator
Each province should have at least one coordinator. These coordinators are directly responsible for supporting district coordinators, overseeing certain vaccination and surveillance programs and assisting in training of district staff. They have full data access permissions and can also receive alerts from field reports. They have no data reporting responsibilities.
4 Koordinator Kabupaten : District coordinator
The role of the district coordinator is to support field staff reporting from the field, ensure the smooth running of the system, ensure the staff are well trained and equipped to use iSIKHNAS to its fullest, and to assist others to access the data on the system for a range of uses. They have full access to features which allow close management and monitoring of staff, as well as all available animal health data. There are usually expected to be two coordinators in each district to ensure the responsibility is manageable and shared.
5 Dinas vet : Vet Services Vet
A qualified veterinarian, responsibility for and close involvement in response to Pelsa P reports in particular, disease reporting and case management, differential and definitive diagnosis, and disease investigation and response.
6 Dinas paravet : Vet services paravet
Shared responsibility for responses to local Pelsa reports, disease reporting and case management. Some responsibility for population records, farmer and animal id records, insemination and production.
7 Petugas dinas lain : Vet service other staff
Administrative staff and other office based staff who are not directly responsible for animal health. Similar to a Petugas Dinas data viewer.
9 Pelapor desa (Pelsa) : Village reporter
A person chosen by the village and willing to report animal health problems using their phone. General signs of disease, priority syndromes and proof of no priority disease are their core responsibilities. Some may be trained to assist with the reporting of population data using POP.
10 Peternak : Farmer
Registered farmers are able to submit a limited number of messages, primarily reporting oestrus and other breeding events, as well as some ownership events.
11 Pelapor rumah potong : Abattoir reporter
Those with responsibility for abattoir and slaughter slab reporting. This may either be dinas Kesmavet staff, or delegated to personnel in the abattoir. A daily report from these officers using the RP message is usually required and provides details of total animals slaughtered by species.
12 Keurmaster : Meat inspector
Not currently in use. Intended for use by technical staff in the abattoir, to report abnormalities (signs of disease) detected during meat inspection
13 Pengawas Obat : Drug inspector
Not currently in use. Intended for use by drug inspectors involved in checking drug regisrations
14 Petugas Check Point : Check point officer
Staff with responsibilities for checking movement certificates or verifying movements, not for creating certificates.
15 Karantina : Quarantine
For eventual use by staff involved in quarantine related services and activities. Not currently in use.
16 Kesehatan : Public health
Not currently in use. Intended for those involved in reporting or response to zoonotic diseases.
17 A-Lab : A-Lab (DIC)
DIC staff who have been trained and who are responsible for regular reporting of laboratory data using the data sharing uploads between InfoLAB and iSIKHNAS.
18 B-Lab : B-Lab (provincial)
Data managers for B-Labs who have been trained in the reporting of laboratory data using regular emailed spreadsheets linking submitted samples with case identifies.
19 Inseminator : Inseminator
Full time or part time staff, contractors or private inseminators responsible for insemination of cattle.
20 Trainer/demonstrator : Trainer/demonstrator
Anyone involved in training in and demonstrating the use of any part of the system on a regular basis. Not routinely involved in data submission, but needing access in order to demonstrate how the system works.
21 Dinas viewer : Vet services viewer
Staff who work at the provincial or district level in dinas offices but who do not have field reporting responsibilities, who do not regularly work with animals or farmers but who require access to the data for analysis, planning and administrative purposes.
22 Quarantine viewer : Quarantine viewer
Not currently in use. Intended for those staff in Quarantine that require access to iSIKHNAS data but do not have responsibility for data submission.
23 Public health viewer : Public health viewer
Not currently in use. Intended for those public health staff that require access to iSIKHNAS data but do not have responsibility for data submission.
24 Abattoir viewer : Abattoir viewer
Any kesmavet staff with an interest or responsibility for using abattoir data, but not responsible for data submission.
25 Admin : Administrator
High level system administrator with full access and responsibility for the system.
26 Koordinator Kesmavet provinsi : Provincial Kesmavet Coordinator
Provincial level Kesmavet coordinator is responsible for overseeing the reporting of daily slaughter data by kesmavet staff to iSIKHNAS. The coordinator will be responsible for supporting data reporters, addressing training needs, trouble-shooting errors and following up staff if not reporting.
27 Kornas Produksi : National Production Coordinator
Central level Production coordinator to oversee the use of the ID and IB modules, coorperation with the BIBs and use of the data for the purposes of analysis. No data entry responsibility.
30 Epi Viewer : Epi Viewer
A user who is responsible for the epidemiological analysis of all iSIKHNAS data. No data entry responsibility.
31 Project Viewer : Project Viewer
Staff from AIP-EID program who have responsibilities for monitoring and evaluation, or communications relating to iSIKHNAS.
32 Petugas BIB : Semen collection centre officer
Not currently in use. Intended for BIB staff trained in and responsible for the exchange of data straw and bull data.
33 Koordinator Kabupaten Produksi : District Production Coordinator
Senior district production staff responsible for the oversight of inseminators and their reporting, to assist with training of staff in ID and IB modules and in the use of the data for analysis.
34 Vet Swasta : Private Vet
A private vet who is registered and trained to use the system for limited purposes in cooperative or partnership activities with government staff in an area.
68 Lab C : C lab
Staff in C-Labs who have been trained and given the responsibility of reporting test results to iSIKHNAS using emailed spreadsheets.
